As Operations Director at Parabol, you’ll grow and nurture a burgeoning young company by applying your business acumen and talent to people.  You’ll lead Parabol’s legal, financial, and hiring functions, as well as playing an integral role in shaping Parabol’s culture. And you’ll do it alongside an inspiringly talented and kind team.




  • 5+ years experience operating a growing start-up or business at scale, experience operating a fully-distributed team prior to the pandemic a plus
  • ❤️  for thinking about productivity and ways people work together, and eager to depart from the status quo of how business operate
  • Detail-oriented & strategic; able to see the trees and the forest
  • Familiar with GAAP accounting and U.S. C Corp governance
  • Comfortable reviewing and editing contractual language and legal agreements
  • Eager to build and lead a team around you
  • An empathetic and generous communicator that lives by, “don’t hate, iterate

  • Observing the business for opportunities to reduce friction, reduce risk, and propose a change
