About the role
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, optimising our website, and driving organic traffic. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective SEO strategies that align with our business goals.
Team setup
The Marketing team currently includes CMO, Marketing Team Leader, Marketing Operational Manager, Copywriter, Frontend Developer, and UI/UX Designer. SEO Specialist will report to a Marketing Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, and user engagement.
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Optimise website content, meta tags, and on-page elements to enhance search engine visibility and relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and designers, to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout the website.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular website health checks, identifying and resolving technical SEO issues that may impact organic search performance.
- Monitor and manage backlink profiles, identifying opportunities for link building and off-page optimisation.
- Provide SEO recommendations for website structure, URL optimisation, and information architecture improvements.
- Stay informed about the latest SEO tools and technologies, evaluating their potential impact and implementing them where appropriate.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in the Domains/Hosting/Tech/Saas industry;
- B2B experience is strongly preferable;
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices;
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions;
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development principles,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Fluent English;
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and developments.
